Which contributions have I made to Europe?

Tell us what you think. Did your contribution arise out of your own initiative, e.g. by voting in the European elections or perhaps by taking part in a cross-cultural project? Or did you represent your country abroad in such a way that others had to reconsider their prejudices? Or perhaps you know of someone who deserves to be praised?

“Europe has to steady the progress” said Barroso after his nomination in June 2004. At that time Chirac described one of his traits like the following: “One of his qualities is that he is Portuguese.” Perhaps that is why he seems so likable? Perhaps because of this he has a very good, human impression? He was also named as one of the best lawyers of the east expansion. You can see that he proceeds diplomatically but uses his friendliness and his southern traits (again stereotypes!), because he is like that and so he can master solutions and good suggestions.

Congratulations! I liked the description, but I don’t have much time right now. But I wanted to congratulate, from the neighbor, too. Ania has already our support, now we have to explain people from above that such initiatives from down are brilliant in their simplicity. In this way we can deal together on the European level double tracked hand in hand, on the one hand through our official representatives and on the other hand through average people. And I join the appeal: go voting!

I congratulate personally, not only through PoTomek. I see scholar-team comes up not only with Europe’s enthusiasm, but with pragmatism and basic work. [pozytywizm – epoch after enlightenment and Sturm and Stress literature the basic work was supported – AB]. With pleasure I follow discussions, even opinions I don’t agree with much, because it is the real nature of discussion: to get to know attitude of another person through her/his arguments. What about President of European Commission I have to admit, through this description he is more near to me. In television he seems to be friendly, but after this article he seems to be friendlier to me. Compared to a little bit rigid Prodi he looks better: friendly and decisive. I am happy that Poland and other countries from the former East Bloc became a part of European Union during his cadence. I hope President will be elected for the next cadence, too, to accomplish his goals (like Anna wrote: to make better the economic situation and to decrease unemployment). I keep my fingers crossed for President Barroso and for Anna! PoTomek already beautifully wrote: keep going double tracked on the European level.

The President of the European Commission is the most powerful public official of Europe and the founder of this platform met him? I congratulate! I found the description good; it had other style as the official press notices. I almost felt like I would be there.

Critics complained years ago about a missing European profile and he is characterised by his Europe-oriented slant. People get well along with Mr. Barroso. Anna is right, we need more such people, not only in politic.

The CSU doesn't take integration seriously for a long time. The SPD also didn't introduce a satisfactory conception for the advancement of integration.

They speak about it and don't do anything political. Shall we integrate them all on our own account? There shall be a politic supported action; otherwise we'll have a glorious mess!

First the quality mark for small and medium-sized businesses for the project Scholar.

Now the founder and realizer of the project Scholar, Anna, meets the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso at the occasion of awarding the title Honoris Causa of the TU Chemnitz.

This is very considerable when you look at his full timetable.

Already over 110 000 visits on the platform Scholar and it is only the fourth month since it was founded and you get the impression that this platform has been here for many years like a good, old friend.

A great chain of successes, Anna, and important reason for congratulation for you and the whole Scholar-Team.

This is your “contribution in Europe until now.”

I read in the news: The President of the EU Commission, Barroso, is a very busy man these days. Many heads of government want to negotiate with him about the question which most powerful position in the Commission they might fill in the future. But Angela Merkel doesn`t want to name her candidate until the elections for the Bundestag – a risky method.

And then I see the pictures in the gallery of Anna Brakoniecka with Barroso and I read the articles here and I think to myself, that Anna Brakoniecka also has a great influence on Europe, even though she is not a head of government. That is very impressive and when I have a rough look at the project, then I keep my fingers crossed and hope that Anna Brakoniecka and her team will have further successes and will be even more present than now!

Our politicians integrated us for over 50 years, but with Soviet Union. And it didn't work out. So maybe we, people, integrate ourselves better?

Przede wszystkim należy uszanować decyzję rodziny. Wawel?

Prezydent zmarł w warunkach wyjątkowych, po bohatersku można by powiedzieć, bo leciał do Katynia, by oddać w imieniu całego społeczeństwa hołd męczennikom - argumentował Dziwisz. Jezu, co
